With the Iceblock ice packs, cooling performance of up to 24 hours is possible. Before using, simply freeze the ice packs in the freezer for a few hours.

Details about the function of the 750 g ice packs:

The phase change in these ice packs takes place at approx. 0°C. During this change, the cold pack needs a lot of energy in the form of heat to melt, which it gets from the environment (e.g. within a Styrofoam box or cool box) - the so-called heat absorption. In other words: The temperature range around 0°C is the temperature range that this cold pack can maintain for the longest time because that is where it extracts the most heat energy from its surroundings (melting point).
